People attend universities for any different reasons for many different reasons(for example, new experiences, career preparation, increased knowlege), why do you think people attend colleges?

As a Senior in Hanyang University(to be frank, I'm not a senior. I'm currently serving the military at Social Service Network), I have lots to talk about my first months as a Freshman. I was literally bewildered. To put my cards on the table, it was certainly not the university dream I anticipated. No grass field where my friends and I can rest on while having a can of beer; no classrooms that resemble a court house. Aeriality of a new goal was the key factor that struck me hard.

So lost I was for few months. It was only alcohol that relieved me from all the distress from the absense. I did not even have the pride of attending to Hanyang University. Frankly, I belittled my school as HWANYANG UNIVERSITY at that time which I regret very much!! It was about June, as I recall, when I first joined The HJ and HANAKLANG(Amateur Orchestra) when I started to feel solace and respect for being a Hanyangian. I felt foolish of my self being so pessimisti, now realizing how fruitful university life can be when I know how to enjoy it. Even though, I have a long way to graduate, I can emphaise the joy of going to college or university to one point: various experience which is an ample stepping stone for ones' life.

University is a door to new experiences, an impeccable areana for those who desires to seize their job(or future work) that fits their aptitude. Studying what students need or want is possible when studying at universities. They afford the cutting edge scholastic environment, not to mention the welfare suited for students to enhance their initiative to learn. Professors with wisdom and long life experience are always ready to teach and assist students who are willing to study. Cafeterias, selling nutrition fit, but cheap meals and amenites such as dorms, libraries and more make universities a decent atmosphere in which students can fulfill their life long plan.

Moreover, enjoying time with diverse people is an golden time to learn what you really are, to reiterate, forming students' own view of value. Till entering university, we were forced to study with group of students, which gives only a limited chance to me other friends with versatile characteristics, ditto, personalites. Right after entering university, there is no such concept as 'class.' Students have to  make their own choices on lectures or social meetings such as 'dongari.' Encountering people with similar or different hobbies and personatities, it becomes acknowledgable to fathom what you genuinely like or not. Therefore, conceiving what you are.

I feel ashamed of myself as I write this essay. What have I done for 3 years after being admitted to Hanyang University? I have a long way to find who I am. Neither have I firmly decided what my aptitude is!! But lets not be too frantic about it. I have 1 golden year left for myself to study what I want, mostly economics, english, and accounting studies, and venture experiences all of which will become a big nutriment for my life!! Hurray for me.
